El jardín de los sueños

The most recent work by transdisciplinary artist Kylla Piqueras will be presented in Mexico through the Alfredo Ginocchio Gallery as part of the VIVA Perú Festival.

Over the course of more than fifteen years of work, Piqueras has explored such diverse areas of study and expression that she has managed to chart a trajectory that is anything but conventional. Heir to the inexhaustible ancestral culture of her native country, as well as an authentic and persistent desire to delve into the complexity of multiple cultures and times, her work employs with special originality and harmony resources ranging from popular knowledge to scientific language: referential icons, textile and taxonomic patterns, phenomena of light and color, and, of course, autobiographical projections that clearly reflect a singular artist of her generation in an exhibition that invites us to reflect in times of intense crisis and uncertainty.
